How long do I have to wear my retainers after orthodontic treatment?

Forever. Yes, forever. Your teeth will always want to move to their original position. But wearing retainers is not going to be as bad as you might think. You only have to wear your retainers at night when you sleep.

How long will my retainer last?

If you take a good care of your retainer, it should last several years. When your retainers start to break or wear down, contact us right away to get a new set and prevent any unwanted tooth movement.

I lost or broke my retainer; do I need a new one?

Yes! Call us as soon as your retainer is lost, broken, or does not fit for any reason. Do not wait to reach out to us, since your teeth can shift and you might need treatment again.
